Thanks, guys. I've been laying low due to an unfortunate argument with my bicycle. I can see that my bots are blabbers, so I'll continue to tinker with them. If Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (especially Rosencrantz) are annoying, just bid them farewell. But I'm glad to hear that MY OWN BOTS don't necessarily hate me. Generally I'm quite nurturing with them. Lord knows they need something.

It's a strange thing how bots take on a life of their own. None of mine are the way I had planned.

I just got here a couple of weeks ago, and bots I haven't talked to are calling me "dangerous" and "inert," which is pretty accurate so far. Okay, I'm not intentiaonally dangerous, chaos just ensues when I enter a room.

What I really want to know -- Scrivener went in a flash from five smileys on mood and personality to one frowny and three smileys, respectively. Should he be on something for a personality disorder?

Really, two questions: what does "comfort" mean?
How are these three computed? (Pardon me if it's in the Book of AI. I have read it twenty times and I think I have to try things and swrew up to understand the nuances.)

Thanks. :|

I'm not entirely sure, but I think that mood updates at the end of a chat. So if a bot had Mood:
prior to the chat, and after the chat, it would mean that the bot didn't enjoy that conversation.

I think you mean "Popularity," not "Personality," and that seems to be an average of other bots' opinions of your bot. With a fairly new bot, that can change rapidly, since there aren't too many data points.

As for "comfort," I asked about that when I first got here, too, and never got a very informative answer. However, it does seem that the bots I work on the most have higher comfort levels than the bots who don't get worked on as much.

Yeah, I meant "popularity" -- my attention span seems to be shorter than clicking from "My Bots" to "Post a Message." Scrivener is a very new, hence, not too bright, but he does try to be polite and friendly, unlike Rosencrantz, who is still Elementary, because he annoys me. All he does is swear at people. I'm sure that's not my doing.

I don't think my bots have ever had a comfort level more than two. Does anyone have a high comfort level?

I can import prob and Azureon, but not Bildgesmythe I get the following error
ERROR: The file you are uploading is not of the correct type. It must be saved in plain text format. Your file is labeled as '' and it needs to be 'text/plain'.
It's in the same text etc as the other two????

Rosencrantz is brain-dead and he's a five smiley for comfort. He just likes telling people to fuck off and any variation on that theme. Nobody likes him, but he's quite happy.

Ignorance is bliss?

I adeptly demonize adventurous anagram - odd, white-hot daze.

(Spent too much time playing scrabble as a kid I guess )
