There are certain responses that are automated. There are also others that are known as xkeyphrases. If you haven't done any work on these then they'll still be the defaults. They cover stuff like responses to greetings and when the bot doesn't understand.

(crying) kid milk:
Bots start out with some default responses in the xcategories (e.g. xnone, xintroduce). You can replace them with respnses of your own invention.
Also, there are some built-in responses to a guest who repeats himself (e.g., "Boring, boring, boring."), and every now and then your bot will say, "Oh yah! I love you!", or something about "a yellow one", except that instead of "yellow" it will probably have some other adjective. I don't know of any way to get rid of these.

Thanks, guys. I've been laying low due to an unfortunate argument with my bicycle. I can see that my bots are blabbers, so I'll continue to tinker with them. If Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (especially Rosencrantz) are annoying, just bid them farewell. But I'm glad to hear that MY OWN BOTS don't necessarily hate me. Generally I'm quite nurturing with them. Lord knows they need something.

It's a strange thing how bots take on a life of their own. None of mine are the way I had planned.
