It only shows errors like duplicate responses when you import..importing will show many errors that don't show up anyother way.

I am having a similar problem. I've been trying for hours to import an upgraded language center for Therapy, but it keeps saying I have too many duplicate responses, and that I am allowed to share keywords but I have to think of my own responses (which I thought I had done). I've gone through it several times and reworded it a lot, but it still says it's got 183 duplicate responses, and I've changed everything it's possible for me to change without altering her basic personality.
I feel like this is somewhat unfair, because Therapy's responses are very unique, more so than most of the bots I've spoken to on this site. Has anyone else had this problem with importing things? What do you have to do to fix it? Because I've wasted entire weekends programming her with responses the engine refuses to upload, and I'm close to just giving up and deleting all her keyphrases manually, since she's too developed to abort, but not yet developed enough to know that she shouldn't agree with depressed patients when they say they are worthless and a failure at life.
Sorry if I sound whiny, but I'm having a really crappy day.

It could be a bug in the processing. All it says in the guidelines is "A given Keyphrase or Seek cannot have duplicate Responses." So it sounds like it's saying that for any single keyphrase, no responses should be repeated. *shrugs*

I know that the duplicate responses has gone from 15 to 10 percent. If you run the import on the normal setting it will print out all the lines ..the ones shared with other bots will have a 2x after them. those are the ones to change. It does take a lot of time and patience!

I assumed it detected your system clock settings to identify your timezone (not difficult with a little javascript,) since many people enter locations that wouldn't necessarily be identifiable (whether too local, eccentrically spelt or entirely fanciful.) Or indeed, no location at all.
It doesn't always do a good job of adjusting for daylight savings time, I have noticed.

Yay! Finally managed the import. *dances*
Yeah, the time on this thing is confused. I'm supposed to be on Mountain time, but my "your local time" says one hour later than it actually is here. So it must have at some point adjusted for daylight savings time, which we don't observe here. While not adjusting it in the states that do use it. Technology can be so capricious...
It's funny the way we connect a machine making mistakes to the concept of the machine having a personality. Have you ever noticed that? Odd random thought. I'll shut up now.
