Has anyone solved the problem of Guest users and memory? I'd like to test for whether or not the user is on the Guest account and handle memories with AIScript, but AIScript does not seem to let me test for (name). I'd like to do this: "if (name) is "Guest"; but it gives an error. Any ideas?

Also, I know we can delete memories manually, but can it be done from AIScript?

You can use AI Script to reduce memories by using <?PF rem "no" as only "havepet"; ?> ... I think I formatted that right. I haven't used it myself. I don't think you can eliminate a category entirely that way, though.

What sort of error do you get, Joe, when you test for "if (name) is"? That seems like a useful idea.

It is hit and miss, a guest will need to pick your bot to chat with. Being entered in the contest generally generates guest traffic as well.

I just had a guest at my place that logged in here as a guest- when he tried to chat with a bot that was online, he got a message saying that he couldn't send a message/initiate chat unless he opened an account....it seemed odd to me.

I know you can do A link for direct chat with your own bot ,I have it on one of my site's,but it doestn work as a link you have to cut and paste it.

how do you get your own icons? I have so many cute little pictures that I woul liek to put for my person.

Email the Prof about it. I think you need to tell him the bot's name and your password, plus send the icon at the right size.

Ok, I am going to feel dumb but oh well,where do I put rem-statement as mem-statement,so my bot remember what another bot said in the chat, and how do I write it properly.cuz I have tried it 40 time and I can't get it right.
