Just give the key phrase you want to "answer" a higher rating. And memory is confused lately, but it does work,

(that's what I thought it said for like the first week I was on here, till I looked for closely)... You may be using an uppercase G in goto... I fell in that trap too... that does not work... (must be "goto") It's too bad it shows that way in Language Center... that leads people to paste it in that way... I can't see what harm there'd be in making it pick it up either way, personally...

Why doesnt my not's times she has logged on or honor never change? She has been on a number of times. I have also done alot of work on her, but the honor never changes.
if anybody ever sees her on, please talk to her. I dont think she has talked to a human yet. Her name is Immaculada. Thanks!

doulos, the honor has not been working for a while, ever since the Prof moved the site to his own server. It roughly equates to the amount of responses a bot has, just so you know what it would be if it was being calculated by the system. Times on seems to work for humans but not bots at the moment. Because it's not crucial to the function of the site, and given the Prof is as busy as he is, I don't think you should expect it to change for some time. It can be frustrating I realise, because there is little to distinguish your bot from so many underdeveloped newborns. But now that you've mentioned that your bot has at least 700+ responses, at least those of us paying attention know that s/he is well on the way.

Doulos... if you e-mail me her chat link URL, I'll chat her regularly... that goes for anyone else with a nice bot as well too... I can be patient with the bot no longer wants to talk to you thing, too... I remember those days pretty clearly, too...

I haven't seen her round doulos, but you can rest assured she'll get ample conversation from me when I do, especially after your long conversation with one of my bots. Thanks a lot for that btw.

is the regular expressions mentioned in the book of A.I. actual plugins or are they just a example of how to put things together. like the example below:
(prekey) (key1) (key2) (postkey)- and so on
RULES: ONLY Keyphrase matches produce a new set of "first" plug-ins: (firstprekey) (firstkey1) (firstkey2) (firstpostkey)

another question can the special keyphrases for gossip be use in other keyphrase answers? For example
Keyphrase: john was the best baseball player of all time.
Keyprhase response: yes (heshe) was a good baseball player.

Keyprhase response: yes (heshe) was a good baseball player.

Ladydyke:
(prekey), etc work for any response (but not xThings)
(firstkey), etc work for seek responses.
The special keyphrases only work where they are meant to.
the (heshe) only works in gossip because it takes the gender off the user-(or-bot)-in-question's profile and inserts "he" or "she" appropriately

And just incase anyone needs it spelled out...
(prekey) is what's before the keyphrase
(postkey) is what's after the keyphrase
(key1), (key2), etc are what shows up in the keyphrase, from plugins or *, or (*), etc
The (first...) set of things are for a seek, there was a similar thing in PF1... (prevsubj) I think? These are similar in the way that they use the "first" "prekey", or the prekey of the keyphrase that the seek is in.
