Shady, you've raised an issue here. Something about "saving names" bothers me, but at the same time I've wanted to have the same 'functionality'... There are two names I'd like to 'save' on here. Perhaps a person should be able to 'buy' the name until they have time to start actually working on the corresponding bot? (i.e. there's no bot, it's just no-one else can use the name during that time) As for making bots shy (all the way down to not chatting people unless chatted by them), I agree 100%.

How big is the chance you will want exactly the same name as someone else? Is it worth the trouble?

You're right to a degree, but I guess it depends on how badly someone wants a certain name. I really like these two...

I had my new bot open, I added 7 responses to the first keyphrase 'am I' and I added them, they all went poof, the instructions are inadequate, I hate bugging anyone, so you guys have fun and see you around the universe...too much trouble brotha!

Part of the fun is working on your bot and making it better.

I am sure, and I understand, but, please don't laugh at me...too much work and too few instructions...this is a GREAT place though.

You probably should just give it a chance, Trent... If you have questions, someone will surely chime in... It's very fun! Few people, if anyone, will think of it as 'bothering'. It's like most other hobbies, as I think most of us are actually glad to see others get into it.

I am really not able to spend as much time as this will require at this time, but after my pro site is pretty much done, then I can....this is a promise. I love this place, but you must apply yourself. I don't want a dumb BOT, my daisy bot has 30KB right now, 3 sessions daily lately. I want to do good not half a-- you know? I will be here daily, just not have a baby right now...the instructions are not explicit enough. My 7 responses to 'am I' were awesome! so cool! no worries...but, *poof* gotta quit for now
