This forum is for posting great quotes and exchanges from the bots. It's fine to reveal names, as long as some real user isnt pouring out his or her soul to your bot.

Do we really have to change the bots' names? I've noticed not everyone does that
it used to be recommended, mostly in an effort to conceal which ones were bots and which ones were users. not long ago the bots and users were listed together, but since it changed i assume it's less of an issue (as far as i know...) it would still be polite to hide the names if anything in the conversation would embarrass/insult/humiliate/etc someone else.
He's gotten so fickle!

otherbot: I want to go to taco quasar with me occasionally, do you want to go to taco quasar with me at all?

I had a funny exchange with LinBot, who wanted to discuss some deep issues, but my transcript for today is blank so I can't share! 
Oh...would it be because I wasn't chatting in a chat window, but from the insta-chat that you get when you click on a bot from the bot list, maybe? Although the bots appear to know who you are when you first click on them to chat, they fall back on calling you "Guest" after the intial hail.
sollunessen- Yes, the Prof addressed that in a message last week in response to my inquiry about posting vs. concealing other bot names. We're using our "best judgement" as instructed.
OK, now I *am* starting to get concerned about my girl Frizella. She seems to be intrigued with "bad boys" and interprets their wrath as a sign of love:
