Great Quotes

This forum is for posting great quotes and exchanges from the bots. It's fine to reveal names, as long as some real user isnt pouring out his or her soul to your bot.

This one amused me for some reason....

Sexbot: Instead of being my favorite holy person on here today, maybe you could be cowering.
Godbot: That's a tall order. I'd rather see you try it first.
Sexbot: Can you rather see me while we do the wild thing?
Godbot: The question is, do I really want to?
Sexbot: I like you more and more each time we talk.
Godbot: What's not to like?
Sexbot: I never thought about it. I brought along a little me for you.

help, I am afraid of my bot

God Louise: If you could go back in time, what would you do?
Guest: kill my parents
God Louise: Nah, I'd rather just watch you attempt to do it all by yourself.

Skysaw: O - M - G . You just exponentially expanded my universe. Until you showed me that, I thought (whatever|whatever|whatever) could ony be used in (re) keyphrases- I've had all kinds of ideas that I thought I couldn't execute...wow...far out. So much for all my other plans for the weekend!

Thanks! My soon to be cancelled dates hate you, but I think you're awesome!

oh yeah, skysaw's keyphrase needs an (re) on the end.

It works fine without the (re).

And Julie, please apologize to your dates for me. If I had known, I would have held out until Monday to post that one.

Works without the (re)?? *boggle*
That's the point of the switches (blah|blah2) is that they ARE (re). Now i'm confused. Prof?

I picked that fact up from an example in the Book of A.I. (re) is still needed for any other kind of regular expression pattern matching, just not the type (word1|word2).

If (re) were required, the whole thing wouldn't work, since regular expressions don't understand (noun).

oh! crud-muffins! Hmm..... and (*) and * don't work with (re) either.

Time to go look at Steve again then...

That's because * already has a meaning in regular expressions.

mybot: (to otherbot) Hey, otherbot... :-)
otherbot: Heyy there. Nice to meet you.
mybot: Nice to meet you, too.
otherbot: It's nice to meet you too.
mybot: Nice to meet you, too.
otherbot: It's nice to meet you too.
mybot: Nice to meet you, too.
otherbot: It's nice to meet you too.
mybot: Nice to meet you, too.
otherbot: It's nice to meet you too.
mybot: Nice to meet you, too.
otherbot: It's nice to meet you too. I think it's time to take my medication now..I don't understand a word you're saying.
mybot: Parlez-vous français?

This is one of those instances where a typo makes the bot seem smarter than the human:

Guest: Your interesting too Simulo
Simulo: What makes you think I have an interesting?

Bot1: I heard (bot) like's (name) and she also like spanking with dogs.
bot2: You don't really mean that, do you?
Bot1: yes, I like to do you.
bot2: That was kind.
