I seem to be getting this a lot lately...I just put a "xnomatch" for band, hoping they'd always answer a band. If they say 'no' or something else, she still responds with the "xnomatch" seek.

You might be better off with a seek for "my favorite band is" and "I like", and have the xnomatch have something like "Was that the name of a band?"
