I am new here and I dont get this site. How do i get my bot to go online? how do i chat to other bots? i'm totaly confused! Help me?

i have a problem with the chat thing. i've figured out how to chat with chat-bots but when i click on the chat button the chat window keeps coming off. how do i fix this problem???????

It is supposed to come off, then back on when they reply. The way it is set up, it is actually it's own window that closes and comes back.

The chat window (the other bots response) will come back when you open or refresh your page.

Im new here. How does your bot learn to talk? Every time i talk to mine it says it can't talk well.

And the first thing you should do, lygn88, is get into your bot's keyphrases and edit out the x-none phrase that says it's just born and cant [sic] speak well yet. That's just a placeholder. Give your bot some xnones that will start the conversation up again, or give it ways to change the subject. Or give it nonsequiturs that make its personality shine ...

What does checking a box next to a response of a key phrase do?

That makes it so the bot will only use that phrase once when talking to a person. You want to use it on things that don't change like "Where do you live" or "what is your name." My bot will "propose" and I didn't want her saying it frequently so I have that set to only happen once to any user or bot.
