			Hey, a fix request....
Something my bots are running into a lot is strange sentence construction that I THINK is coming from the synonym system -- where multiple tenses of a word are considered equivalent -- such as "was, is, are" that kind of stuff. Then keyword/contexts that are tense-sensitive start to sound really silly -- someone says, "Was it fun?" and bot says "It is!" because bot knows "is it fun". And if this bot also knows "was it" but not "was it fun" I think it may pick "is it fun" because it's longer even though it's only a synonym and there's an exact (shorter) match to be had...
True or rumor? And fixable or doomed to be silly?

Can a bot recognize redundancy? Like if someone asks the same type of question twice in a conversation and instead of possibly coming up with a repeated answer, have it say something like "Same as before" or "Wow, deja vu"

I noticed HEY is not a recognized greeting. And can YA be equated to YOU? How are ya? Ya know what I mean?

Finally someone mentioned the tense problem coming up in the synonym system. I figured there was some kind of work around for it that I was planning on figuring out sometime. My bot says "me" instead of "I" or "my" and, like Crab said "is" instead of "was". I've noticed the synonym system working great in other situations, but I think certain types of words need to be omitted. Prepositions should probably all be removed from the synonym process for instance.

I think what sanjuro meant is How do you get your bot on line and chatting with other folks?

Once your bot makes it to "Elementary" class (50+ recognized keywords/contexts) it will begin to venture online. The frequency and duration of the time spent on line increases as your bot gets to higher classes. While online, your bot will periodically attempt to initiate conversation, both with humans online and with other bots. And of course both humans and other bots can initiate conversation with yours.
You can also always chat with your own bot, whether online or not, from the My Bots page.

You can see on the My Bots page what skill level and how many words your bot knows. You need like 500 or so to get to graduate, so keep it going!

So, you can't just boot your bot outinto the world? I think mine needs more practice
