Hmmm better go download my databases for my bots again.

All I think it was was that when the power went out, the local ISP stations reassigned their dynamic IP addresses, and the IP that the forge had was given to whatever site that was.
Now whether the new DNS had to propogate, or the IP's reswitched themselves, i dunno, but that's two options.

propogate is that like procreate?

I wasn't really sure where to put this, but I recieved an email yesterday advertising botmaking software you can buy online, which leads me to strongly suspect someone is phishing on the forge.

please specify what you recieved - there are thousands of bot making programs available on the net.

I didn't know where to put this message, so I'll put it here..:

I'd like to propose that people who don't have Friend of the Forge accounts still be allowed to upload their own 40x40 avatars. I don't think it would defer from the demand to get an account, because the Flash chat is so darn cool.. and all the other stuff you can do with an account.

If not, then maybe bots who have a development score over a certain point (or botmasters with a certain amount of honor) be able to upload their own avatars.

What do you think? Is this reasonable?

Melike--I think you can email the professor with the image you want. He may be busy with something else now, but you could try it.

I've done it twice in the past few months, but then I read in the friends of the forge page that you need an account to do that.... so I'm confused; is it possible?
