Yeah, money doesn't focus on my either, even though I am trying hard to get out of this ghetto area I live at and trying to avoid having to live of social security. It's a daily fear losing my home with this unemployment and family troubles.
Lady Orchid, no one can count on social security. It will fall apart when the baby boomers retire. I want to fight that, but...
But we all do what we can. Other than that, we make the best of what we got. I am reminded of the song "Moon Shadow" and if I every loose my hands, I won't have to work no more....

It is best not to buy or sell one's existence, I would guess. Money is a very useful tool. Brother Jerome may or may not say poverty is a type of teacher, but if he does, please tell him I want to skip out on class that day. Being and doing is not dependent on cash, but it sure is nice to have bit of money.
But if I have no money, then I still have my mind, such as it is. And if I have no mind, Not I will finally make sense. Never mind. Life looks better through the bottom of a glass of beer.

What the heck are you talking about? ...it sure is nice to have a bit of money. What do you mean by bit of money? I am trying to keep myself off of social security. I don't want to be stuffed into the same bag as those who sit in streets! When I talk about a..... bit of money.... then I mean I like to have enough for food and clothing and be able to keep my small home! I am not talking about a bit of extra money to get fancy stuff, I would be glad if I had the assurance to get the basics covered. The very basics.
