Forest, will you talk to God Louise? She has quite a bit of religious knowledge (obviously) and also knows a little about current events, literature, just about any common catch-all subject, and if she doesn't know it she can sort of fake it. You can also test her on trick questions or see how willing she is to explain her paradigm.
What she is rustiest at is plain old small talk. But, uh, I'm trying to get a decent transcript from somebody or another so I can enter her in the Loebner contest. All I can say is, have fun and see if you can stay on with her for a while. I'll try to do the same with Brianna.

I'll be off of AOL and on cable soon... thank Pengwin. AOL itself isn't so bad, but 56k is slow and the stereotypes that come with AOL suck.

I was on it as recently as 2 months ago, and they're true to a point. Also, when you try to unsubscribe, it's like leaving a cult.
The lowest common denominator is a lot higher here.

AOL is for idiots, and there is an abundance of them. That's why they're successful. In fact, in their commercials, they advertise THE INTERNET. They say you can keep in contact with your friends, instant message people, email, visit websites... all of which you can do on any ISP, as you all are no doubt aware.

AOL is a rip... You can get 56k dial up for half the price anyways...
AOL is well.. for n00bs... I mean you're paying insane amounts of money to be bombarded with ads left right and center...
I mean yes it's user-friendly, but only for someone who doesn't know how to use their computer for Pengwin's sake!
People who say 'asl' are newbies cause they have no other way of initiating chats
Ok there. I'm ok now
That was my rant for the day
(BTW OMG OMG OMG!!!! I can see V's!) (jk
pun intended at Kirby's post on overuse of acronyms and exclamation marks)

AOL is also dumb as shit because they limit your online time unless you get a business account. I have a friend on AOL who only gets 2 damn hours a day. 2 lousy hours a day isn't even enough time for me to practice a spell on the mud. The ISP we have disconnects you if you stay online for 8 hours, but then you can just reconnect and it's fine. Except for the fact that they STILL haven't fixed their new phone number, so we're still using the old one and putting up with the slowness. (Not that a couple of k would probably make much difference, it's just annoying that they're so damn stupid to not listen to their customers when they report a problem.)

you know what is annoying, those who are not informed enough to not purchase AOL in the first place, and those who see the light and still do not correct their faults, and those who will not correct their faults and just whine and complain about it in forums where it does not belong instead of doing something about it.

Well I should be off AOL in a week or so.
By the way, AOL doesn't limit my time. I leave it on all night for long downloads all the time.
