Okay, is that like "hot patato"? Is it because I'm an American that I haven't heard of it or because I am old?

i dunno. pass the pacel is a little kids game where somebody wraps up a pacel with a pressie under each layer. the other people get in a circle and the pacel is passed around until somebody stops the music and that person wraps off the first layer, then they start the music again and continue til you get to the last layer. its a bit of a little kids game tho, i certainly wouldn't play it now.

Depends how good the prezzies are.

We could always play pass the haggis - it's similar, but greasier. And there isn't a present under each layer of sheep's stomach.
