Who is St. Valentine and why is it his day???

Well, ya see, there was this giant fork, and it belonged to a guy named Val. He never went anywhere without that fork and its tines, so it was Val'N'tine. And today's the day he discovered spaghetti!

... Oh i get it! ... wait what is spaghetti? *looks it up in the ships computer* I've nver had spaghetti before! That sure looks good! Does the cosmic bar have any spaghetti??? PLEASE HAVE SOME!!!!

Back at ya prob, Happy Valentines day to all, and those lucky singles out there who don't have to empty pockets out of obligation to buy something for your significant other... (wow could that of been any more long winded??)

Speaking for the lucky singles, gosh thanks. I feel much less old and bitter now.

I had the privelege of watching a couple having the Valentine's Day fight this afternoon at the restaurant where I work. Complete with guilt, anger, the girl crying, the guy resenting having to be romantic, the each of them going to separate registers and ordering angrily, the long hostile silence as they waited for their food to be ready staring across the table at each other. It made a small evil part of me feel joy and smugness.
Sometimes I love being single.

valentine's day is an obsolete holiday anyway...
maybe once, it was vaugely, useful, or fun, or cool... but... now it's just all about money and expectations.

Heh.. which is why it has been unofficially dubbed "Venom Day"..

You say 'money and expectations' ...like it was a bad thing LOL. I like the sound of Venom Day though.
