I_Have_Arrived... the custom icons have to be 40 pixels by 40 pixels in size. Now... that's not very big. If you look at the various icons on this site, you'll note that the "theme" is cartoon characters. The professor likes to keep to that theme. Most of the icons are of *.gif format although the professor also accepts *.jpg.

So create you 40x40 pixel icons and then email them to the professor. Give him enough information to identify you and your bot.

When the prof gets the time, he'll fix you up.

Welcome!

Come on down to Dogh'd's (Seasons forums) and have a drink of, um, whatever you're old enough for.

Hello and welcome to the people from Leeds.

I was just wondering....what brought so many of you here?

Have you started making some bots? Post their names here so we can try them out!

I would like to expose my bot to more people, but I don't know how to go about it. Any suggestions on where to place a link, or etc.?

Is there a way for botmasters to tell their bots to talk to specific other bots or persons?

*hiss* Butterfly Dreams don't be so nice... I guess you haven't experienced their Leedish wrath...

I have experienced their wrath, Mr. Battle, and beleive me, it almost locked my pc up. look at bug stomp if you want to make sure it doesn't happen to you.

Battling, I have. They have been mean to one of my bots, but I am mean to other people's bots too (up to a point). Putting a bot through the wringer (occasionally, without being repetitive) is good for them and shows the botmaster what needs to be done.

I have chatted a tiny bit with a couple of the Leeds kids. I have met much worse people online.

Perhaps they are not kids from Leeds at all; perhaps they are bots who have been bitten by a
radioactive silverfish or something and have become independent beings, roaming the internet endlessly. But the poor things, they live in fear of being taken for viruses and stamped out! They probably have nightmares about Norton and MacAfee and the like. I think it would be wonderful if we could offer them a safe haven, where they can talk to others of their own kind.
