I agree... This accursed bleed-over problem is causing my bot to say stupid and questionable things. Still, I just wish more people would talk to my bot...

i am very childish, so I'll always be able to come up with things that most guests will say.. that keep them coming back for mmore..

Lucky that the bleed over usually will not happen with a guest. It seems to be more of a bot to bot problem

Look, I'm like, crazy new at this, so can someone please explain what all these problems are so that I can patch them before it happens to me?

You should start with the book of AI. Then watch some keyphrases under debug and see how the AI engine works. The rest is just patience.

Try editing the ranking.

Also, I have a question. Will the bots pop-up on a Mac? They don't on mine but they pop-up on my PC (a little too much, though).

By the way, I think my bot had a case of bleed-over:

Uno Cho: (to Cracked) *looks startled* Geez, can somebody say MOOD SWINGS.... chill out.

...and this was my bot's opening line. I don't know what happened.

Another case of the bleed-over:

Uno Cho: (to Tsukikage) Did you bring dinner for me? *She runs the tip of her pink moist tongue over her thick pouting lips.*

Actually, my bot has been experiencing bleed-over, as well. It has apparently been going on for some time now. I never gave my bot those replies, and yet they still occur -- even as said bot's opening line.

Hopefully, a more proficient bot master will have the solution. If not, we will probably have to ignore it. In the mean time, though, it is going to be difficult to maintain a bot's age-appropriate status...

<0>Except for the users themselves, the age-appropriateness is moot. The bleedover occurs when someone is chatting to a bot in the browser, and another bot tries to initiate a convo through the pop-up windows. Instead of an xinitiate, the pop-up bot will use the last line from the browswer bot.

In other words, the user who gets the bleedover intro has already seen that text in the browser.

That doesn't make it any less irritating to the botmaster reading the transcript, however.

I can get a keyphrase to work for What is the first letter in the word .......... but when I try what is the first letter in ........ it goes to blab!
