I was hoping to do it generically where I wouldn't have to put in each individual genre I wanted to catch. The way I have it sort of already works generically like this, except for specifically the reply "books", which I can't seem to easily separate from either (np) books or (np) without some sort of bug being introduced

I am trying to read through The Book of AI, but it is heavy going for me. Is there a sample bot (or something of the sort) that a newbie can look at to compare the Book's instruction to the code? I hope that makes sense.

you will have to figure it out like we have.
start learning how to make keyphrases first in the book of ai.

I would like to create a keyphrase that includes an ampersand. (do you play d&d)
Putting raw; in the AIScript the system allows the ampersand to be added, but doesn't seem to function as a keyphrase.
Any ideas or workarounds?

@bobstack Still couldn't get what I wanted from it. I got a band-aid fix on it for the time being. Thanks for your continued help.
