Trained them? Did YOU learn anything from the Prof's bots? I think you could learn a thing or two about tact from them

Anyways, I entered Steve in the Loebners, with probably around a 1500-2000 word transcript...Needless to say, thanks to everyone for giving him a workout recently, especially hats off to PaintPatricia for that lovely (uhh) 76-line long conversation (making it 38 lines each) and it made sense! OMG I'm in heaven!

I'm not into being tactful. Actually, I used to think I was a bit nasty, but after all those girls propositioning me, I don't know what to think...

5 bots? Whatnow? Did I miss something? I thought the Prof's only bot was Gaia.

The Professor entered all his bots for the Chatterbot Challenge, and they are listed there. All those who are curious, go to www.chatterboxchallenge.com, click on Final Rankings, find Gaia, and then click on Benji Adam's profile. It has some info on the Professor, plus the list of all his bots. I don't list them here in case somebody prefers to try to figure it out by themselves before looking.

I think I know them.. BTW DONT look for them on chatterbox, it ruins the surprise... try to find them out.

Hey BTW after you send your entry to Loebners and get a response, what do you do with the response? Do you reply? I'm confused.

I had also mistakingly sent an over abudance of applications/transcripts to the Loebner... but they are very nice and very very quick to respond to your letter if you offer cookies!

Maybe The professor is a bot himself, made by someone else over the past decade...
