I had new AI scripts stripped out of xnones and seeks a while back when I tried to upload Gabibot. That's why I had asked about scripts earlier.

I am still having AI script stripped out. Chrono statements and the flash face stay in, but breaks, colors etc are gone. It's happening in all responses not just seeks and xnones. It happens on importing and on the regular interface too.

I wonder if it's a result of/connected to the Prof fixing the apostrophes? I fear the server may need another prod

It happened to me a long time ago. Before that, it uploaded Spikebot and made all his newer rankings and emotions part of his replies even though there was only one set in my doc and I had a clean proceed with import page.

I just had a Firefox box "error Console" pop up with the following.
Error: uncaught exception: [Exception... "Component returned failure code: 0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE) [nsIWebNavigation.loadURI]" nsresult: "0x80070057 (NS_ERROR_ILLEGAL_VALUE)" location: "JS frame :: chrome://global/content/viewSource.js :: viewSource :: line 141" data: no]
Error: return not in function
Source File: javascript:return true;

Source Code:
return true;

I SUPPOSE that means that "return true;" should be part of a function definition (that makes sense, since only functions 'return' things), but isn't. It looks as though there's a flaw in some JavaScript somewhere. I have no idea where to look up the failure code... well, there's always Google!

According to
http://www.updatexp.com/0x80070057.html
it's a windows update error, much too arcane for me to have any feeling for. IMHO, the best way to deal with that sort of thing is denial. Maybe the Prof will fix it. Maybe it will go away. Maybe it's just healthy aggression on the part of Windows.

I just entered as a guest, and was guest 9. All human chats are guest 9, so it's not one crazy person with too much time on their hands.

I've got one human-bot transcript that's all xnone and xnonsense. I just saw a bot-bot one working all right...
But I'm chatting with the same bot now and responses are working. So maybe it sorted itself out.

Really Prob? Must be a new server thing. It used to match up with the end of the IP. Now how do we get a bot to rememebr the same human who comes back to chat?

Prob123, look in inner life. Does it think your IP address is 192.168.0.9? A whois search says that's registered to "Internet Assigned Numbers Authority" for "special purposes". This seems to be be a private network address. Come to think of it, I vaguely remember my router listing numbers that may be in a similar range that for some things I have at home, but details involving numbers tend to slip right out of my head unless I have to look at the numbers right next to each other. Maybe when the prof switched servers he changed things so that guest chats are given the internal IP of his server?
