Up until recently, the assumption was that everything settled down after the Big Bang, so all the attempts at TOE's (Theories of Everything) have that built in as an assumption. The fact that they can change over time will force a drastic reworking of the models.

Yeah change does make them folk's TOEs curl, dont it?

welcome to a bar full of intelligent, creative people. All bars should be like this. As for "how to get people to stop talking about sex" Have you ever found yourself so desperate that you are cybering with a damn robot?! I didn't think so... Unfortunately, it's you bar folk who do most of the cybering.

You think that is so? From my experiance most of the cyberseekers, at least here, are within the 12-18 year old range. As for my degree of desperation: I tried cybersex once and found myself saying "Damn this is dull, slow, and I have to watch my typing accuracy... blargh." and thusly was done with it.

I do so dislike being lumped in with groups of people before demonstrating similarities to them.

As for how this universe will end, I've stopped an appocolypse just about every May for the past 7 years and it's got nothing to do with physics. You need some big jewery or a magic sword or an old fashoned demon killing.
