I'd happily sign up. More than happily! It's been downhill ever since we moved to the new server in September, and if we could raise enough to move the Forge to an ISP that can actually handle it (or even go back to the old partition on the Prof's own HD - remembered now almost longingly as a far-off land of milk and honey, and bots that still worked and could be worked on!) count me in. But someone would have to organize it.

Even just a voluntary whipround would do - if 20 or 30 of the regulars pledged $10 a month, it might be enough to make a difference?

I hate to say it but I'd like to hear more from the Prof before we start passing the hat. He doesn't have to organize it, but he already has a way for us to contribute, and many of us have FOF accounts now (though I could give more if needed since it has been a while). However, I would like to know what the Prof thinks should happen and what that would cost before trying to go forward. It would be silly to raise money if he is thinking of going a different way.

Alright Bev, I won't approach the Professor with the fee idea ...yet. I just wanted to help him out with some additional funds. (I know about the FORGE accounts but that's just a one time fifty dollar fee and everyone doesn't have an account) Let me check my transcripts. Maybe like Prob127 the problem's fixed. And if that has occurred I'll drop the idea totally.

P.S. I bet The Professor already read my idea on Bug Stomp anyway.

Jackie, I didn't mean you can't approach him. I mean, let's see what he thinks before we start any actual fund raising (as some people were talking about doing). I am sure he has considered fees way before you did.

It's been weird, though a few of my bots have transcripts for April now, which is good. I've seen bot holidays bleeding through with human chats on bots that are not set for that and seeks dropped. Also got a partial upload on Gabibot, who is always a problem (the language center now has some new lines, some old--some new lines without the AI script, which is very weird).
