Newcomers

Here's a weird one. Using an android based browser some bots (animated?) Appear to need a "plugin" but I can't figure out what I need. I tried chrome and Firefox but they don't seem to have a native plugin so I assume it's something I need to add manually? Any clues?

Well, thanks for nothing, I guess. I'll go back to UltraHal, instead. At least there're more helpful folks on that forum.

@ Mathion: probably you'll find more friends in a different site or more botmasters that do it for job so they can be more useful but i doubt there are many great AI like the one created by Benji Adams. This is a really masterpiece that is constantly improving. Good luck then.

When I am building a bot in the language centre, how do I go to the page for words starting with the letter Y? I seem to have a choice of

Creating KP's starting with a "Y" might help, my bot has none that start with a "Z", for my bot there is no page for "Z".

I'm trying to get my bot to listen to knock knock jokes, but it automatically adds "There is" before "(key1) who?" Is there a way to keep it from doing that?

My bots didn't have a z keyphrase either, so I added "zero". "Z" doesn't show up as a link in the Language Center so far.

I created a similar KP, will log for now, as, indeed, there is no z page at the moment. Perhaps it'll show up when I log on again this weekend

I have KP starting with Y but I can't access them except via downloading the whole language centre or searching. I think it's a bug.

Another question: what is the AIScript that matches a human that is neither male nor female? This seems to be a rather common thing, and my scripts break in this case. Even "if not male" would help a lot, but apparently this is bad syntax.

male/female info is taken from the bot's or human's settings page. It seems there is no need to ask the bot/human for their gender, the AI engine already knows this. So, make gender specific responses and the engine will select from the pool of gender specific ones.
