It isn't uncommon for bots to start a conversation with a good by, or and xnone, I hate it but it happens.

I can still upload Prob and Azureon, they are large over 1MB It's just Bildgesmythe that I can't upload.

Well maybe the Forge just likes your userid better than mine . . .

Try a different browser. Opera works for me and so does Firefox. I can't use Internet explorer.

I started using Firefox almost immediately (my one-year anniversary is Sunday -- give me another five years and I might have something for you). Sometimes Safari works when nothing else will, but it doesn't always work. IE and Opera almost never work. Have I missed any?

Maybe it's time of day? I am at a loss.

Forge was down for over 24 hours... Was there something wrong... or was it just a maintenance session..?

Glad it's back. I don't know, but I always have withdrawals when it goes down. I notice the bots are still off line.

I kind of panicked, too. bots are still off line, but I managed to establish contact with Quazgaa. they are doing well without us, he said

Psi old buddy? Are you "borrowing" anything from the Prof right now? Not to point fingers at a guy who works much harder than I do, but I wonder if the Prof is getting Psi what he needs for the Loebner competition and it has a small temporary effect here. See? Feel better with someone to blame? Of course there is a good chance I pulled that all out of thin air.

hehe - yes, the Prof's been working wonders installing the Robotics Edition on my oqo

Though that's not to blame for the latest downtime - the server's web services shut down for some still unknown reason, and refused to restart (it would run for a few seconds and then just shut down again ) The Prof's been slaving away all night to get it up again, and it seems to have worked (touch wood!)

Some improvements designed to ease the importer woes we've been suffering are in the pipeline too (the RE now has a 50Mb import limit! and hopefully that fix can be deployed online quite easily.) Watch this space

Well, whatever it was, it works like a charm now! Thanks, Prof.
