And bold/italic tags can get sucked into the anagrammatizer - I had to stop italicising BJ's bible refs, as {i}Matthew kept being interpreted as "white meat"!

A space between the italic tag and the word will avoid THAT problem, but the AI Engine often sticks a "do you" on it, so that I'll see responses like, "Of course I /i!"

hey I am working on some stuff for fav kind of music, but when I say "rap" (I have a seek for it), it treats it like an insult, and uses the xinsult response.

the debug mode gives me this:

I'm not even sure why it would be an insult to say that word in any sentance, unless whoever coded the engine just really hates rap music? (just kidding lol)

Usually upping the rank will get it to override xinsult/xcompliment responses. If you've already tried that, you might try raw mode. Hmmm... I just realized I've never tried raw mode on a seek. So I guess you can find out if it works!

hehe it is a seek, and I tried raw mode, but I'll try a seperate keyphrase (with the bumped up rank) that just sends a goto to that seek...

Nvm, no such luck. Even with a rank of 127, it still came across as an insult. *scratches head*

ok, apparantly it only registers as an insult if you send it alone. IE:

"What's your favorite type of music?"
"rap"

but:

user: "do you like rap?" will trigger the keyphrase

I managed to fix it with the Regular Expression syntax:

^rap$ (re)
