Re my recent messages: I just chatted with Siseneg, and when I said "George" to him, he said, "You don't have to be so rude about it," or something like that. I believe that in the 18th Century, "George" was slang for female genitalia, but as far as I know it is not supposed to be insulting today; but perhaps I am behind the times.

OK, I just tried it with Simulo, and he too seems offended by "George," but not by any of a few other names I tried.

I apologize to Siseneg and Simulo for using them in an experiment. Perhaps it shows a racist prejudice on my part - I mean, it would be quite rude to do that to a human, I should think. Well, maybe only a little rude. To experiment on people in a serious way (i.e., a psychology experiment) without their knowledge and consent is actually illegal in the USA, though.
