I was talking with a friendly chatbot when all of a sudden my Internet failed and I needed to refresh the page. Everything was fine in the conversation beforehand, but now I can get 'the bot no longer wants to talk to you' even if I didn't say anything offensive. She still says she likes me. What's going on?

Maybe the bot got the same message three times in a row because of the page reload, and/or three messages it didn't have a keyphrase for in a row. This causes a PF bot to block a user for some time (iirc 3 hours).

Hi folks; my chatbot seems not to know its own name sometimes (but it does other times). For example, I have a keyphrase that is just the bot's name, and sometimes, when the name is said in a sentence, the bot replies "Hey, that's my name!" as intended. Other times, it gives the xnone reply. What's causing this?

Ooh, good idea~
I just tried putting it at rank 20, but if I just type the bots name, or "Hey bot'sname" I still get xnone
I'm going to have to look over this book of AI thingie again; maybe there's something I'm missing in the relevance formula~ >

I've looked at recognition of the own name in debug mode.
In normal mode, the name of the bot that is being talked to is simply omitted, therefore you have to use Raw mode. (Regexes are not necessary, but are possible.)
I didn't need to raise the rank above zero. But +10 or +20 wouldn't do harm, I think.
(For Raw mode, put "raw" into the AIScript field in the language center - just the word, without the quotation marks.)

Intriguing! I'd noticed in the debug that it resolved to New Sentence: '', but had no idea why it was losing the text in between steps. I did just try doiny the bot's name, with raw in the AIscript box, and also the (RE) approach without any success, but I have never tried anything in raw mode before. I'm going to look into this ore, and hopefully get it working!
