I just noticed that the CBC site has a bot directory that you can add your bot to, it doesn't have to be in the contest and you can add more than one bot. I have been getting some good conversations and some feed back. they have a comment and a review section

There are DVDs of these available (google for "Animusic") with lots of different musical machines (strings, wind, percussion, all sorts,) - jaw-droppingly amazing programming!
I can highly recommend them.

I just can't imagine how much time it takes to get it working right! I wonder what it looks like when things go wrong.....
