Bot Contest

If you want some real help refining your bot (and if you want to completely shatter your ego), do like I just did and beg people to talk to her.

I just sent out an email to friends, enemies, and chance acquaintances, telling them briefly about my bot and the Loebner. I probably shouldn't have said, "Do your worst, and have fun," but I did.

So far two of them have spoken to her, and both times she got confused after ONE f***ing line!!!!!! She has close to 2000 phrases, but she didn't recognize "How goes?"

I want to point out that these may have been some folks I hung out with in college. I liked them, but we never were quite on the same page. Which means their input is especially valuable here.

I've already had a ton of my friends talk to my bot, but most of em don't know shit about bots, so they never even ask complicated stuff. I'd love to beg all you guys on here to talk to her, but then you'd get pissed off & beat me up.

I've finally been getting material to work with for NotKirby, but I just don't have the patience to fix him right now... And that makes me want to staple my forehead because by the time I'm less stressed out, I'll have to go back like two weeks to find it.

Uggh, the more I put in my bot, the more I realize I need to put in her. I think maybe I'll start on a few simple French phrases that I actually understand and have her bitch about ppl speaking foreign languages...
