is it okay to have a keyword exactly as:
(word|more * words|more * still) and (thensome|here * too)
I was having probs getting one of these picked up on a talk, even with full rank.

What phrase are you trying to catch? The use of the soft wild card will pick up a lot of things and your keyphrase would be very vague.
try
(more|) (word|words) and (then some|here)

that's what i was aiming for, no need for words or keyphrases. jk.
hey, Cyber Ty was just talking with my bot. Ty, that joke about the lobsters is too long. it crashes with 'message too long'. just thought you should know.

Sleeping Dog..
Kinda hate to tell you this.. but, I don't have control of how CyberTy works things out.
CyberTy is a self learning twin from another of the Forge.

dude i get lost so easy, i have no clue what you mean. so good luck, thumbs up and good job, and i'll even give you some of these: !!!!!!!!!!
on another note, i have a keyphrase as "you like me" with rank of 50. it doesn't get picked up if you type it as 'you like me' but it does if you type 'do you like me'. any clues as to how to fix it? help, my bot is stupid and doesn't do self-learning, he can barely do the regular kind!

It can't be fixed, it goes to blab. I really wish that "blab" could be over ridden, but it mostly can't.

Keyphrases beginning with "you" often go to BLAB. A sure way to match "You like me?" would be:
Like me [10,0]
Are you asking if I like you?
+ yes, sure, of course [0]
I like you [0:5]
I don't like you [-3:-1]
goto Z_annoying [-5:-4]
Or you can just take your chances with "Like me", to much "You like me?"
but have also keyphrases "Like me (he|she|you|they)" to match "Like me you like drinking tea etc"
Like me [10,0]

I like you [0:5]
I don't like you [-3:-1]

Like me$ (re) [10,0] should work too. $ cuts off the phrase. It would also match "they like me" But it would not match "You like me, don't you" . Sorry the responces and a seek above would not get indented.
