This phrase is not built into any of my bots...are phrases bleeding from other bots?

Telly Tunebot: (to Ulrike) 'Lo. You need creature dead be?

yep. That's certainly one of Glindar's (and who is Glindar's bot-maker, we wonder? Those of us who haven't figured it out yet.) There is a not very difficult way of calculating who hidden bots belong to, but I shan't go upsetting any of the more shy and retiring among us by revealing it here. That secret is safe with me - for the time being

I have been getting only xnones since last night..started night before last...but it's bad now.

yeah - time for a server reboot, I fear

Holy cow! Well, I've never seen that before. That's not an error message - it's a genome!

Prudentia: Any idea what preceeded that (just out of curiousity)?

Alright guys.. is the problem of "I'm sorry, there are no valid responses for me to choose from" in any way related to the xnone problem? My bot had a rather long conversation with SubliminaLiar Jr. earlier, (who was inCREdibly patient, even for a bot) and would say pretty much nothing BUT that..

Connery: That was quite a string of 'no valid response' replies from your bot... the last part was also strange:

SuperCon!: possible, not probable...
SubliminaLiar Jr:

Errors have occurred.
Hit F1 to continue
Have a pen handy?

SuperCon!: Umm... I don't know!
SubliminaLiar Jr: Okay.

Obviously, I didn't program in that error message, nor have I ever seen it before.

BTW, I was watching this chat in real-time, and at first I thought it was one of Sub Jr's haikus...

Hmm.. It does work nicely as a haiku though. Mel_Arewar was mentioning something about bots bleeding into other bots earlier in this forum. Could be a case of that?

In any case, I'd rather have an xnone show up than "no valid responses". That way I feel like I have something to blame.

Connery: I'm sure you know this, but I'll point out for the newer botmakers that the 'no valid response' reply is usually triggered because that bot has no replies in a certain emotion range... but I believe that our bots have had several chats in the past without this problem, so it would appear to be related to the x-none bug.

(IMO, of course...)

Observation: Curse of the Xnones was almost unnoticeable when I was the only user logged in here. As soon as others logged in, it would flare up...but so far it's receded shortly afterward. We shall see if that continues.
