With the help of a logician friend of mine. I can prove it."
It isn't the phrase, I got my bots to pick up on it. It has to be the ranks you have set.
You: With the help of a logician friend of mine. I can prove it.
Bot: I never really doubted that you could, Problem.
[like the 1st or 31 of January] or do we need to write out each individual response for it using AI scripts? I just wrote it out with ai chrono script.

Most of the AI responses can be over ridden by a rank of more than 30..Some just won't go away. I seem to remember that the " do you want me' is one of them.

I had keyphrases working for that a while back, but I haven't checked them recently. It's possible that the Forge's other troubles are making it worse. *shrugs*

I've been experimenting with gotos and AI script
so far, gotos in xmath doesn't seem to work. gotos with AI script also doesn't work.
I thought it would interesting if you got a different response if you asked a bot to do math on a holiday
but the goto's on the other xkey phrases seem to be working.
actually, I found out now that responses with AI script work. but I just like to organize it a little and not have a long rambling list.

My experience is that gotos in x-categories work if and only if they are in a seek.
xnomatch
goto the head of the class
Won't work, but
xnomatch
Excuse me, may I cut in?
+ no [0]
goto the end of the line
will work. To be sure, one can't always predict what the Forge is going to do...

Irina:
does anyone here read the QM posts?
YES, I am very intrigued by your Quantum Mechanic posts, It's just I haven't been able to read all of it yet. Apparently I've missed the last 50 posts
and I'm just doing catch up reading, let alone post on it... Oh and I said the other day that school is getting busy again during the weekdays. on top of that I'm also scurrying to script my bot and launch it soon. so yes, I am reading them even if I didn't post.
gotos work if and only if there are seeks
they worked though in the tests I ran a few days ago,
if it stops working, I'll switch them to seeks.
So Irina, here's an update, because I have a feeling I won't be posting for a while
So I expanded on my dendrites hypothesis and merged it with my time based theory... and you're right there isn't any limit to the number of responses you can have.
My time based theory is that people behave differently thought out the course of the day. The actual measurement of time is superficial and does not occur in nature, but animals and plants behave differently in the morning and at night. People also behave differently depending on what day it is, like at 1am on Friday verus 1am on a Sunday. I also separated the day into six parts: early morning, late morning, early evening, late evening, early night, and late night.
I also combined that with how you feel about the other person, even at 1am on a Sunday you'd probably still be nice to your best friend but you'll brush off a stranger.
I'm scripting this mostly in xnone and so far it has 210 gotos, but since I've attached chrono AI script to every line only about 3 gotos applies at a time. So the too many gotos in a row message didn't pop up. I also have some basic generic xnones in case some yahoo's computer is incapable of telling time
This seems like alot of work put in to xnone, but by theory xnone would make more sense and appear less random.
I'm also including a soft core version of this in xinsults. I think it is crucial to determine your reaction depending on how you feel about the offender and what time it is.
That's what I'm going to be doing over the next couple months. I also applying this to other areas of the xkeyphrases but not as hardcore. (like the greetings would differentiate depending on the time) The areas I'm not going to try this in is xmath, xcomplement, xfavorite, xgossip, and xmemory. I know for sure that it doesn't work at all in xmath, the coding for math rejects gotos... and I think the memory related xkeys would as well. Maybe it doesn't, I'll try it out after I've completed this segment.
My second bot might be a storyteller bot, but so far I haven't thought of a good story.
lols, if anyone was online in the 15 minutes that I was writing this, might have noticed that this post jumped to three forums and then disappeared. That was me, I thought it was too long to post in Newcomers, then it kinda looked weird being in Seasons, then I saw that Irina replied here, so here it says.

In the AI book, it lists wildcards for the current day of week, month, and year... is there an actual wildcard for the current day of the month [like the 1st or 31 of January] or do we need to write out each individual response for it using AI scripts?

gotos work if and only if there are seeks
I think I expressed myself poorly; my experience has been that in 'x-categories' (as I call them - I guess I should call them 'xkeyphrases') like xnone, xgossip, etc., the goto has to be a response to a seek. Otherwise I have gotten, "I have too many gotos in a row." But with a normal keyphrase, I have no trouble making a goto the direct response. If you can do that in xcategories, let me know!

Thanks for the feed back,
I'm also wondering, are there scripts that identify if the other bot is labeled as child, teen/adult, or old?
