Hey. Can you rename a bot?

It seems that you cannot rename a bot, at least not easily. I made a new bot with the new name. Then I downloaded the old personality, then uploaded a slightly modified version to the new bot - which is effectively a clone. I guess cloning is permitted if the bot is at a low level of development. I then hibernated the old bot.

Another noob question:

I'm having trouble getting the bot to respond to "hey". I have a keyphrase "hey, heya, hi, hello" with several responses. But xnone seems to be triggered instead. Perhaps the keyphrase isn't set up correctly? Is there a better way to do this?

Hi, I'm new to this site. Can anyone give me some tips to figure out what questions that users will ask my chatbot? I don't know how other users chat with other bots.

Start by filling in all the Xkeyphrases, that will get your bot talking. Then start with simple phrases like

You are
where
why

Also, you will want to make a lot of additions to Xnone. Until you have really developed your bot, these will be your most important phrases.

Each bot has their own page with a 'chat' button.

The link for chatting is also in your bots workbench.

After you select the chat link. your bot will popup with a opening line or phrase.

There is an input box where you respond to your bot. After you 'send' your message, the bot will analyze your sentence and then come up with the best response it is given.
