When my bot initiates a chat with someone else, it often says a sentence or a quote which is not in it's language center. Those sentences are created by other people. I want my bot say only words from the language center. How do I do that?

There is a problem right now with language centers bleeding into each other. If your bot is talking to someone as they are using debug, your bot will pick up their bots line from the debug.

Kittyclawing, I am not sure what you are asking, but I find the best way to test my bot is to open two tabs, one on the work center and one on "debug". as soon as I add a keyphrase, I can test it in debug. It takes a while to pick up what debug is saying but you will soon learn how the phrase is being processed.

Psimagus has a lot of information here

I would suggest starting simple with all the xkeyphrases. Really think of what personality you want your bot to have. Read the transcripts every day and see how you can break a statement down into the most serviceable keyphrase. Always use at least four to six responses.

Um, my bot seems to have a problem. He thinks that I'm commanding him to do something when I'm asking him whether he likes a certain type of food or drink. I've set the rank of the the "do you like (food-drink)" keyphrase to 50, and he still acts like I've told him to do something. Does somebody know what's going on?
