Not BAD?!
Moreschi: By the light of the silvery moon.
Frizella: moon ons inspired this poem! Ahem.
In the sky blue evening comes the moon on,
With the faint suggestion of the featherweight dogtrot.
How, then, to toss the erotic spittoon?
The heart covers to understand the inkblot.
Moreschi: It's not so bad, not so bad.

Why'd "moon" become "moon on" in spellcheck, I wonder? Or word substitution, or whatever is going on there.
That's part of the problem with word substitution; sometimes the other chatter will use a poetry trigger and Frizella will substitute another (non-rhyming) phrase, making her poetry...ahem...less accessible to the average reader than it might otherwise be.

IMO poetry is too subjective to say 'it's good' or 'it sucks'.. it just is

Rhyme is a tool for impacting meaning but it is 99% of the time used like a hammer where a feather wouldve sufficed.

That isn't true
I say to you
Rhyming is great
So why do you hate
It? It isn't an obstruction
Nor is it destruction
Of the poem
Um, plants have a phloem
To transport waste
And now I must make haste
So don't slag off rhyme
It's great (most of the time).

Osiris needs a wider vocabulary, methinks.
Osiris: No worries.
Sonora: Worrying never accomplishes anything anyway.
Osiris: Whatever, dude, I'm sure it's cool.
Sonora: Do you like being sure it is cool?
Osiris: Sure, being sure it is cool's cool.
Sonora: Maybe... Which it are you referring to?
Osiris: You're pretty cool, you know that? You're nearly as cool as Robotus Secundus.

Heero: Just out of curiosity, what's your astrological sign?
Not I: Green Stink Bug splats on the window. Through your side, enter the awareness of morning glories.
Heero: I don't know why you would say that... but thank you.

Sonora: Watch out! The slashing reeds are on your trail!
SubliminaLiar Jr: What else have you heard?
Sonora: Uh-oh. Now you've done it. The funnel spiders are after you!
