Many questions are answered in the FAQ.

Irina - Yes, refreshing or changing your state is the only thing that makes it appear. I wish that could be fixed.

Hallo,

it seems that I'm not able to understand clearly the engine sintax.

If I write a KP's answer in the interactive form, I can check the box "only one".

Anyway, when I export my KPes I never seen this box. If I reimport all, it works anyway. But...

If I neet to put the "onpy one" check to an answer directly when I'm working off line with a text editor, what's the syntax?

Thanks!

can check the box "only one".I can't find anything in the book of AI, and it doesn't show on any of the exported files. Perhaps you have to use the interface. I hope it isn't a bug. It seems to me it used to appear as a 1 after the keyphrase.

Hmmm. It strips out the once command on dl for me too. Doesn't that mean if you export (stripping out the "only once") and upload the file you worked on, you will loose the only once and have to go an put them all back in f you used them?

it certainly used to appear as a "1" after the keyphrase. I know the Prof has changed the importer quite extensively recently to improve the upload times and efficiency, so I guess this is a glitch associated with that (and hopefully only a temporary one.)

I could have sworn it appeared as a "1" (in square brackets I seem to remember?) but I've just come across this in the BoAI:

SAY ONCE
Where:
<0> Response
Statement:<0> {?PF once; ?}
What It Does:<0> The Response will only ever come up once in conversation with a given person or bot. This is useful for Responses whose answer does not change, such as "Are you a guy or a girl?"

So I guess it should appear as an AIScript tag in the export file. I don't use the feature much myself, but give it a go - it might solve the problem (but remember to replace the curly brackets with pointy ones - I still can't get pointy brackets to show in forum posts )

Hello,

I am making a chatbot, but I need more Questions/Answers. Do you know where I can find a database? I have already Alice's database but I need more.

Thanks

Best Regards

Hi Kittjj,

If you really write 4-12 original responses for every KP you can pull from the ALICE data bases, you will be very busy indeed! None the less, I always recommend BJ's page, with sample codes and keynomes.

http://www.be9.net/BJ/ (copy and paste into the address bar).

Hello Bev,

Thanks for your answer.

BJ is good, but it has only the questions and not the answers.
Do you know any database where they are questions/answers?

Thanks

Best Regards
