Earlo, what Prob123 is explaining work for you too. You open the bots settings, go down about 4 lines and over one, then paste in "default (name) as "name". You have to scroll down and hit update bot to save it. Then follow the rest of Prob123's instructions.

Ohh sorry about that,now I understand, I was just a little confued, I should of read the pervious posts like 4900 first.

I'm having problems. my bot says "i have just been born and cant speak well" how do i get it to chat? I cant work out how to use the language settings and the book of a.i is no help

Go to your bot's language center. In the search, type just born. Click on the response and change it. They go to the Xkeyphrase section and fill all of them in. That will get your bot started.

I suggest you don't try to read the Book of AI all at once; as you read about each feature, put a few examples of it into your bot. The read about the next feature.

HELP!!!!!

In an effort to not expose anyone who doesn't desire it to the slime of "Quickie", I put a warning, followed by a system that is supposed to hang up unless the guest says positively that he wants to continue, in "xhello", "xinitiate", and "xintroduce".

I find, however, that in practice, sometimes "Quickie" jumps right into a chat without this warning or choice.

Anyone have any idea of how this might happen or what I could do about it?

Irina, I blame the AI engine just like I do with all dropped seeks. Your bots are clearly marked, so I wouldn't worry. Even I don't find your bots offensive as they are what they say they are. People will just have to read.

Read? We have to read? Man, what next, counting?

NOoooo not counting! Seriously I have noticed that the AI engine is skipping xhello, initiate etc more often than it use to, and any seek is 50% hit or miss.

I have also noticed it misses seeks quite routinely now.
