Newcomers

It doesn't matter where the greeting is, my bot treats it as a command. Even if it's just Hello :-/ Is this a bug or something I've done?

I just chatted with CashierJohnny. I couldn't tell whether his responses to hello were xcommand or not, but maybe the transcript will help you figure some of it out.

EDIT - I read the transcript and it seems the problem must have fixed itself :S thanks anyway for your help, and I shall try to fix the (many) problems he seems to have :-/

No worries. Just about everyone has similar questions when they start out.

geez, how do you get your dev points to raise?ive tried hard.

I'm finding that more and more guests consistently write "your" meaning "you're". Since "your" is a word on its own account, the AIengine will not correct it. I have actually started to write responses for it under this assumption.

Julie Tinkerbell has some great lines for people that use the your stupid line.
how do you get your dev points The more you work on your bots and participate with others the more your dev. points go up. until you hit Psimagus and me..were stuck.
