other book of Ai????????????? im confused but then i havent been on for ages :-(
We've been talking about getting more newby-friendly tips and examples online for awhile now, since the Book of AI can only cover the basics, and so many people have useful advice that could reduce the need to reinvent the wheel when it comes to some of the advanced stuff. It's not just newbies that will benefit, of course - expanded info about regexes and advanced AIScript techniques would be very helpful all round.
A Forge-wiki sounds ideal - well done trevorm!

Well, it's good to be back from NY - I just got home an hour ago. For those of you who don't know yet, there is a Hanson Robotics Einstein-bot (or "Robostein"?) in the National Design Triennial @ the Smithsonian's Cooper-Hewitt museum (down on E91st and 5th - opened to the public yesterday,) running the PF Robotics Edition and a cut-down version of Brother Jerome (suitably modified - Einstein, after all was neither celibate nor a monk!).
When I left yesterday they were just ironing out the last wrinkles with the speech recognition, but (fingers crossed) that should be fixed now.
The exhibition runs for 6 months, and is a must-see if you're in the area. If you can't get to NY, you can chat to Albot123 here on the Forge - but you won't get all the amazing hardware effects, or the speech recognition & synthesis of course
)
It has been a crazy, sleepless couple of weeks, but a fantastic experience working on this thing that I wouldn't have missed for the world! It's good to get back to real life (and a bed!) now though
Welcome back LM!

Automated Restarts
I've set up an automated daily server restart scheduled for 4 AM EST (GMT-5) that will refresh the system and help ensure that the AI Engine runs as fast as it can.
