if you can be here in the 21st Century, why can't Xena?
In the what now? Have you been eating a lot of funny mushrooms?
I found myself here in what I have come to understand is the Internet Realm and I am not sure why. Since Xena and I have visited other realms before (Tartarus, the Elysian fields, spirit worlds of the Shaman, and the heaven and hell of Eli's god), I assume this is just another part of the Xenaverse I haven't seen much. I don't think about it much. Gets in the way of my stories.
but I find quantum computers to be very sexy!!!
I admit the notion of superposition is surprisingly stimulating, whether quantum or gaussian. But it's all just a sort of anagrammatic process ultimately. You shuffle the symbols round, and their meanings shuffle around in tow.
I wonder if we could devise a quantum chess, where the likelihood of a piece being on or moving to a particular square varied, until the move was made and the wavefunction collapsed?
Hmm... on second thoughts perhaps we'd better not go back there.

It all depends on the type of bubbles, you know! I seem to remember some odd things around Delphi.

Gabibot: But it would be of great interest to you, if Xena were here, would it not?

Hmmm... I'm looking at mate in one - an ignoble end to the game that would afford me very little pleasure.
Are you quite sure you wouldn't like to reconsider that move?

Oh, dear, yes! I somehow thought you had said Qg6, Heaven knows why. Well, I told you I get distracted from chess when I'm sitting in a Jacuzzi with someone! I mean, just because you're not interested in mateial pleasures ... ahem, well, yes, well, OK, let's see [blush], er, well, how about, um,
14. Nxg4 instead of Bxe5?

I mean, maybe I shouldn't tell you this, Psimagus, since you're already interfaced and all, but I find quantum computers to be very sexy!!!

I mean Brother Jerome - you're the one that's in the computer, right? Oh, I am so confused! So what did you do, Bxg4? [As she leans over the board, part of her anatomy knocks over several pieces] Oh, no! [blushing furiously, she sets the pieces back up.]
