Actually, I hadn't specified any emotional range for any of them!
I hardly ever do; I hope this doesn't mean that I have to go through all my bots and specify an emotion range for every keyphrase!

The default should be -5 to 5, unless something went screwy. So if you don't change them, they SHOULD be okay. *shrugs*

I just ran it through debug three times, without getting "Sorry, there are..."; on the third time I noticed, that the AIengine said "Hello", and the bot went to an xnone, even though there's an unconditional response to xhello.

Irina, do you use any (mem-xxx) stuff in the responses? If mem-xxx isn't set then it can't be picked

Is there a plug-in that just matches names? I often get guests who say, "I'm Tom". I'd like to adjust their names. But I don't want to start calling them "Tall" if they say, "I'm tall"!

Captain Nemo:
No more complicated than running a one-of-a-kind terrorist submarine! But seriously, my suggestion is, go through the book of AI one topic at a time. As you read each topic, apply it to your bot in some way. Gradually your bot and your expertise will grow.
