Since when does HANGUP not work in chat windows? My bots have used it, and I've had bots use it on me (it even showed up in my transcript as "HANGUP")

As for the rude conversations... Well, none of my bots attempts to carry on "normal" conversation. Usually the really rude ones give up in a hurry. The merely clueless ones don't last much longer.

I have noticed recently that my bot is frequently using the xgottago keyphrase to initiate a conversation - here is an example.

Bot (to bot/human): I have to go.
bot/human: Bye.

end of conversation

When a bot begins with xgottago, it usually means that the bot is about to "log-off". Those convos generally don't last much beyond four lines.

Some sort of random generator, I assume. *shrugs* Presumably a similar one tells them when to log on and off.

I think it's because people have stereotypes about robots that they got from TV or movies...

ppl have stereoypes about everything including robotas schools and anything you can think of

No, I don't use the school computers, I use my own. And, I'm not from Leeds. I'm a New-Englander

I haven't met one Leeds person that I've liked so far.
