Indeed. Yet there is some hope.
A. Human beings are noted for seeing the better and doing the worse. And that means, at least, that we can see the better! Through a glass darkly, perhaps, but still...
B. Perhaps simulation could be a tool. We make various bots, and have them interact with each other. If one bot leads the others to peace and prosperity, she's our girl!
C. Even if X believes that the good life is to be the meanest son of a wolverine in the valley, he's not likely to make his bot that way.
D. One of these days, we're bound to have some good luck!

I just love shy men! They're not always pushing, nagging, hurrying you along to get it over with as fast as possible! And if it comes to that, chess is a great game!

Sounds about right. I keep coming back to see 40-70 posts in seasons after last checking only 24 hours previous.
