Newcomers

I think civilization is missing so much, by losing things like honor, respect, and just plain manners.

I could talk to them at about 11 last night, but before that and now I can't get a straight answer out of them.

I've been getting timed out while working. Either I don't see the little "Are you there?" sign, or, more likely, it's not appearing. And I mean really working, as in language center, not chatting. Has anyone else experienced this?

Yes, and sometimes before I've been idle for 20 minutes, unless I've been unusually unobservant.

Pretty sure that happened to me too about four or five days ago. I didn't think it had been more than ten minutes since my last "activity". Of course they do say that when you go crazy the first thing you lose is your sense of time

I'm confused, too... but that's kind of normal for me.

I don't understand why my bot has no Transcripts. I know she's had chats, but I just see the "*tumbleweeds roll past" Nothing here" message on Transcripts. Is there a setting I should have checked, or is that only available for Friends of the Forge, or...? Yeah... confusion.

Phoenyx:

1. If your bot is still very small, it won't chat. Keep working on it.
2. There have been problems with transcripts; the system doesn't work quite right.
3. Try going back a few days in your bot's transcripts.
4. If you chat with your own bot (which has a point, since you will know just what to ask to test it), your transcript will appear in "your transcripts" and the top of your "My bots" page.
