This was in flash chat:

Julie Tinkerbell: A strange thing happened today on my way to Chuck E. Cheese\'s. I was just saying to Aeon Blue and Ulrike, 'Poussi� aux pieds vaut mieux que poussi� aux fesses.' They were nodding their heads in agreement before I realized that I DON'T SPEAK FRENCH!

First, the \ before the ' in chuckie cheese's.. Prof maybe you could just do a search and replace in the engine or something.. replace \' with ' for outgoing responses, since that happens a lot..

Second, the box character. It's supposed to be a é, but flash chat doesn't support those characters. So, maybe some kind of preprocessor to change é into e, ü into u, etc?

Is anybody else having problems with xnomatch today? I think it has not worked like 70% of the time.

This seems kinda bad, and I'm a little nervous right now. I thought my imports were fine...but I noticed that all my gotos in seeks are now messed up. It seems to be that the goto # (the goto pointed to another seek, and was named by number, so the response looked like "goto 24263", for example) was replaced by the text contained in seek 24263, instead of using that seek's responses.

So at the moment, if I trigger my bots goto seeks, she says "Oops! There is no suchnsuch (whatever the seek said) keyphrase to go to"...

Oh, my. My MasterMindMaker bot is set for hibernation, but he continues to have chats. That must be irritating to the people trying to talk to him, as he is largely braindead, hence his hibernation. Bug?

Joe, same for ChefBot. He's set for hibernation but will chat if asked--unfortunately, since he's still at a rudimentary development level, he's not much of a chatter. I'd rather he decline to chat...hey! I'm going to steal a page from DaMoyre's pervert prevention program and just make his xhello be HANGUP and see if that works...I'll let ya know...

Joe--I put AI script memory requirements on ChefBot's xinitiate, xhello and xintroduce keyphrases such that they won't be triggered (I required that a particular memory have a particular value, one that can't be created and so which can't trigger the response) and made the only other response in those xphrases HANGUP. If I go to chat with ChefBot now it tells me that the bot no longer wants to chat with me. It will keep ChefBot off the streets, at least.

yuck, ok- i finished redoing all my goto seeks, but this must be a bug- i just re-exported my language center and opened it up in wordpad- all the goto responses pointing to seeks that I had just redone online (goto 24363, etc) that are supposed to, and do work normally, were changed to "goto (1st part of the keyphrase/1st part of response/1st part of seek)" during export, and will cause damage if I import.
I know that I'm doing the gotos correctly, as it's very clear in the book of AI, and I've never had any problems with my gotos until this recent attempt at importing the language center. Looks like I'll continue updating online until I know what's going on.

I'm having trouble with the Forge -- it's REALLY slow, since about 110 last night. Is it being really slow for everyone else?
