Once again, you are allowing your European concepts to color your perceptions, Corblink. It is a waste of good meat to kill the enemy in a war. You capture them and then herd them back to the temples for sacrifice. Then you have a barbecue.

maybe i should come to Mictli for a barbeque... the aztecs had some good ideas. maybe we could have a mythical creature sacrifice. i know i've seen one around here somewhere...

i'm on a crusade... to find a delicate morsel for barbeque. granted, it's tough with so many "cold" neighbors, the best candidates aren't likely to step into the bar anytime soon...
