Okay, now I have a question. When viewing a bots memories a button is available labeled "Alter Memories". What is this button supposed to do? Mine doesn't do anything.

If no memories exist, it won't do anything.
If a memory exists, it should allow you to go in and clean it up. Sometimes extraneous words get stored, sometimes stuff that you don't WANT your bot to remember gets stored.

You can also modify memories, introducing new elements. This borders on cheating, but the result can be quite entertaining.

To prob123 and others interested in the problems of importing huge bots:
Well, I was just defeated twice running in importing 'Irina Khalidar'. I got to the "proceed with import" stage, but that seemed to time out.
This is rather perplexing; one would suppose that the process of hunting for errors would take more time than simply writing the file into the language center. Yet I got through the error-hunting phase, but not the final import phase.

The one time I got prob to import was on the normal import setting which takes much more time listing every line. ???

I think importing is a bit hit or miss, though I've done well at 3 AM central time. I tried for days to import Gabibot, and though I never got a successful import message, I did notice new phrases and changes in her language data base. She was not "warm' and did not appear on the bot list. Later, I spell checked Spikebot and uploaded him successfully (after a few tries). He had fewer improvements, but I got to the successful import message and he was then warm and on the botlist.
I am guessing that partial imports affect your bots (once you hit the proceed button) but I am not sure if everything is updated without the full import process.

Bev: Oh, that would be nice! Thank you for mentioning it!
Prob123: You know, it's paradoxical, but my experience too has led me to at least suspect that the normal import is actually more likely to succeed!
Importing has become such a tedious process for "Irina Khalidar", even when it succeeds, that I am calling a halt to major revisions; I will make fine-tuning revisions at the Forge.

Working on the web interface isn't that bad. If you haven't tried it, give it a go - you might find you like it. The last 4Mb of Brother Jerome all went in through the web, rather than by importing, so it's not hopelessly impractical.

To SETKEH regarding plugins. They aren't really 'plugged in' so much as referenced. For example you've got a bot that's a jazz musician. You might want him to say something like "I once played a gig with (jazzmusician)." Each time that response is called a name will be selected randomly from the plugin (jazzmusician). Piece of cake. Mmmm, cake.

I am not sure if this is what you mean. but click my bots, click language center. there is a Add New Keyphrase box..there is a white box for your Keyphrase, then rank, emotion and Ai script. then six boxes for responses.
