I see stuart dust is on the featured bots section. That's neat. How does it choose what gets featured? Also what do the numbers mean please?

The top three most improved bots get placed on the "featured bots" section. As for the numbers, i am not sure myself, hope this helps.

Thanks mb. I'm just off chatting to poseidon now. It is hard without the transcripts, huh? It is a shame not to see the development of the bots over time, you know. Saying that, this site is still amazing. I am learning so much!

Ye, the site is ace, yet living without the transcipts for our bots is a nightmare! Thanks for chatting with Poseidon, keep an eye out in the "great quotes" section, as i'll be posting a chat with stuart dust.

When you look for transcripts, make sure you go back one day ( i mean hit the link for 1 on the bottom...it will go to the last transcript) and scroll to the very bottom of the last transcript you have. For most of us, the transcript is being added to 12/24. Do worry, it isn't usually like this. I am sure the Prof will fix it when he gets a chance.

Ok, well you see, my account was created on the 28th Dec, so maybe this is why all the new-comers are getting this problem, because the transcripts can't go as far back as the 24th.

Ah. Yes, that must be my problem too. Good to know that the back one takes you to the last transcript, though. I'll need that. And thanks.

If you chat with your bot yourself, I think you will get a transcript under "my transcripts" (as opposed to the bot's transcripts) at the top left of the "my bots" page. Of course, you want to see the chats with other bots, but this would be something. Actually, there is much to be said for chatting with your own bot - you know what's intended to be there, so you can test it.

I wonder whether the following would help the response time: presently, if you upload your bot and have made several errors, the forge diagnoses the first error and then stops. If you have done a lot of work, there may be several errors. So for each error you have to wait while it tries to import. For large bots this may average several minutes, during which time everything else seems to be more or less paralyzed. If the forge went through the entire language center, pointing out ALL the errors, you would have a very good chance of getting it through on the second shot, and almost certainly on the third. This would cut down on the amount of time spent importing.

Oops, that's "your transcripts", not "my transcripts"!

I wish that would work Irina. I have all the errors out of prob..it still just freezes on a white screen. I must have errors on Bildgesmythe but it still just freezes It was resently that the Professor increased the allowable import size. Maybe it just takes to long with a big bot.

Thanks Irina.
