i sended an email to the proffesor and he replied to me
and i told him i had a problem with ai scripting engine
and he told me not to use

psimagus i copied and pasted the one you type in your answer

I would suggest you start simple, and get your basic keyphrases down, it is easier to work on scripting, emotions etc, once your bot is up and talking.

Because I mod a board and it would be fun to see if the members could figure out it wasn't a real person.

Possible or no?

Very difficult to automate, but you could always paste in the bot's replies manually. That's how I got Brother Jerome to chat with Jabberwacky - just opened them in different windows and copy&pasted their replies to each other.

Thanks for the info ive been trying to give her all sorts of words to choose form and shes at elementry level but she isnt ...whats the word shes not asimalateing it and i dontk now much about computers so i dont have much jargen to share with you guys lol but she isnt useing the stuff im teaching her do i need to stick to words or key prashes and if so should i not be useing single words because ive given her allot of thoughs and it isnt helping erg sorry guys

You can only chat with people showing an "open mouth" smiley in the BotMaster list. People like me with a "close mouth" smiley prefer not to use the chat ourselves but leave that to our bots.

She can only recognise key words or phrases you've entered in the "Language Center".

Start simple. Try something like a keyphrase "why" with a response "Why not". Then build up slowly: another keyphrase "why me" as a keyphrase with "You deserve it" as a response. Then a second response "Why shouldn't it be you?" or something.

Or a keyword "cucumber" with responses "I love cucumber", "How often do you eat cucumber", etc.

Once you feel confident with that, go on to the more complex stuff.

i've tried to import a file .txt with all the info but before it imported the program deleted the xkeyphrases
now it wont import my file now what? :O

but i put in the xkeyphrases as the where but it keeps erroring me i hate this proggram already.i can seem to do anything about it.think i'll email the proffessor again.

Easiest thing to do would probably be to create a brand new bot, export that, then cut and paste the x keyphrases from that into your real bot's text file
